About Augustana Arts

For 20 years, Augustana Arts has been serving the Denver community through high quality classical/traditional music performance and education programming and has recently been named one of the top ten arts organizations in the community by The Denver Post. Augustana Arts began in 1997 presenting classical music through its Concert Series.

Colorado Women’s Chorale

In 2003, Colorado Women’s Chorale (CWC) was formed giving expression to the centuries-old art of the all-female choir. CWC focuses on broadening the exposure of quality women’s choral music in Colorado while providing a creative performance outlet for female vocalists.

Colorado Men’s Chorale

The most recent addition to Augustana Arts’ repertoire is the Colorado Men’s Chorale (CMC) which began this spring, providing a perfect complement to female vocal artists in CWC.  This quintet of programming provides a rich landscape of classical and traditional music, securing Augustana Arts’ unique position in the community as a multidisciplinary organization committed to providing accessible high quality classical and traditional music experiences.

About the Colorado Saints Chorale

The Colorado Mormon Chorale was established in 1983, born out of a desire to proclaim the divinity and gospel of Jesus Christ through great music. In 2014, we expanded our organization to include an orchestra. In January 2019, with the approval of church leadership, we announced our new name as: The Colorado Saints Chorale and Orchestra of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are an auditioned choir and orchestra consisting of music lovers from all walks of life. We operate as an ambassador for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints along the Colorado Front Range Urban Corridor from Longmont to Colorado Springs.

Singing year ’round, the Chorale has presented over 600 performances! Our annual events include Christmas concerts, National Anthems for the Colorado Rockies and Colorado Avalanche, Community Veteran’s Day Concert, and the Easter oratorio Lamb of God. We love to be involved in community and interfaith events. Additionally, we enjoy our relationships with community groups and other faiths, and we love the wonderful things we accomplish together!

The Chorale enjoys collaborating with other musical organizations. For example, over the years we have performed with the Boulder ChoraleColorado Hebrew Chorale, Jefferson Symphony OrchestraColorado Women’s ChoraleLakewood Symphony Orchestra, Parker Symphony Orchestra, and various children’s choruses. Frequent free concerts enable all who listen to enjoy the Spirit that accompanies uplifting music.
